Meaningful Student Involvement can be infused throughout teacher training and professional development activities.
When students teach teachers about youth culture, student rights, learning styles, and other topics important to them in schools, Meaningful Student Involvement can be present in teacher training. Students can also co-facilitate learning opportunities for adults focused on the critical study of power, language, culture, and history as they are related to Meaningful Student Involvement, ultimately and appropriately teaching teachers to value that their experiences and contributions to education.
