Interview: Adam Fletcher on Education
In May 2015, SoundOut founder Adam Fletcher was interviewed by Rebecca Bohmann for a podcast called “The Luminous Mind”. He told the story of SoundOut and elaborated on the basis for Meaningful Student Involvement.
Throughout the conversation, Adam reiterated the democratic nature of public school, and the necessity of fostering student/adult partnerships for school improvement. He also shared a passionate critique of homeschooling while providing a necessary linkage between homeschooling and public schools.
