The SoundOut Student Voice Program features a variety of characteristics to benefit students, educators and schools. They include:
- Strong Pedagogy. Hands-on, interactive lesson plans focused on building the capacity of students to be fully engaged partners throughout the education system
- Broad Learning. Throughout the program students learn about schools, school improvement, student voice, educational research, school planning, classroom teaching, learning evaluation, systemic decision-making and education advocacy.
- Deep Impact. Using powerful evaluation tools, students and educators assess themselves, their peers and the entirety of their school communities. Students develop critical thinking, project planning, reflective learning and change management skills.
