SoundOut is opening a powerful window of opportunity for students, teachers, community practitioners and advocates to learn about student voice, student engagement and Meaningful Student Involvement. We are excited to offer new interactive trainings for individuals and small groups online!

Our online training modifies what takes place in our exciting in-person workshops. We have designed each interaction to be engaging, entertaining and informative. Sessions can happen in your classroom, school, district, or worldwide. Our sessions are one hour long, and books can be emailed to participants before each class. Certificates of completion are available afterward upon request.

Online Training Descriptions

  • Basic Student Voice — This online training is for students, new teachers and others to learn the basic elements of student voice. It is accompanied by our publication, The Guide to Student Voice.
  • Student Engagement in Classrooms—Focused on practical activities and meaningful outcomes, this online training is for educators who want to transform their approaches to learning, teaching and leadership.
  • Why Meaningful Student Involvement?—In this online training, participants can learn about the systems and structures that can be transformed through strategic student voice. This training is accompanied by Meaningful Student Involvement Guide to Students as Partners.
  • Building Support for Student Voice—Participants in this online training learn how to transform the attitudes and opinions of individuals in their school communities.
