SoundOut is opening a powerful window of opportunity for students, teachers, community practitioners and advocates to learn about student voice, student engagement and Meaningful Student Involvement. We are excited to offer new interactive workshops for individuals and small groups online!
We have designed each online workshop to be engaging, entertaining and informative. Sessions can happen in your classroom, school, district, or worldwide. Our sessions are 90-minutes to 3-hours long, and books can be emailed to participants before each class. Certificates of completion are available afterward upon request.
Soundout Online WORKSHOPS
- Basic Student Voice — This workshop is for students, new teachers and others to learn the basic elements of student voice. It is accompanied by our publication, The Guide to Student Voice.
- Online Student Engagement—Focused on frameworks and practical activities, this workshop is for educators who want to transform their approaches to learning, teaching and leadership.
- Why Meaningful Student Involvement?—Participants can learn about the systems and structures that can be transformed through strategic student voice. This workshop is based on Student Voice Revolution: The Meaningful Student Involvement Handbook.
- Teaching Students About Student Voice—Participants learn how to use the SoundOut Student Voice Curriculum to build the skills and knowledge of students through project-based learning focused on transforming education. This workshop is based on the SoundOut Student Voice Curriculum.
