Who We Are
SoundOut works with K-12 schools to provide expert services focused on Student Voice, Student Engagement and Meaningful Student Involvement.
We are hired by school districts, state agencies and education-focused nonprofits. Founded by Adam Fletcher, the SoundOut team has worked with more than 300 schools in 20 states across the United States, several Canadian provinces, and many other countries internationally. In 2020, SoundOut became a program of Youth and Educators Succeeding, an international independent nonprofit organization located in Olympia, Washington.
What We’ve Done
Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Olympia, Washington, SoundOut has served more than 500 K-12 schools and education agencies in 18 states around the U.S. and across Canada, Europe, Australia and South America who are dedicated to Student Voice and Meaningful Student Involvement. SoundOut is funded through fee-for-service contracts with K-12 schools, districts, education agencies and nonprofit organizations.
